Sep. 23rd, 2012 02:04 am[When the voice feed turns on, there are two things to notice. The first is Sakura Oogami’s face, naturally. The second is hesitance. Her eyes are closed as she waits to address the village at large, and she takes a deep breath. To some, it may be clear that she is unused to communicating like this. This is truth.]
Greetings, villagers of Luceti. I will try to be brief as to not take much of your time.
[So far so good.] I have not yet introduced myself to you. My name is Sakura Oogami, and I am a New Feather. [She still feels awkward calling herself that.] After reading your guide, I have three questions I would like to ask.
[Two easy questions, and one difficult question. She just has to make it through this.]
First, I have noticed many of you carry weapons or are fighters of some kind. I would be greatly interested in hearing about your training methods. I would also like more information on the Battle Dome. I am...not familiar with such technology. Would anyone be willing to speak with me on such matters?
My second question is this: does the name Hope Peak’s Academy sound familiar to anyone? If you are familiar with the name, contact me immediately. [She’s doubtful. She’s already tried filters for each of the students. Aoi Asahina. Makoto Naegi. Kyouko Kirigiri. Those who remained, and those who no longer lived.
When it comes time for her third question, she hesitates once more. She opens her mouth to speak, then shuts it. After a moment of thinking, she speaks once more.] ...What are your favorite places to visit in the enclosure? I jog often, and a destination is never harmful. [That wasn't what she wanted to ask. She can't ask something she isn't sure of herself.] I thank you for your time. [And she shuts the journal.
After dealing with her inquiries and her daily training, Sakura can be found at the library in the evening. It is her first visit, and a muscular woman wearing a high school girl's outfit surely stands out. She seems to be searching for something, but she isn't having any luck at all. When she's finished, she will head to the weapon shop to search for another item before heading home. She will not avoid conversation entirely in either place, but she won't initiate conversation, either. Anyone is free to approach her, however.]
